This Is How You Get Healthy While Playing Game

People said too much computer games will make you lazy. You will ended up sitting all day, limit your social life. What if, there is a game, a computer game that embrace you to actually go out, walk, run, and that sort of physical stuff. A game that will force you to meet an actual people in the actual offline world? Is there such a game? and if there is, will you play?

Well, actually, there is! Around the end of 2012, Google. through one of it’s company called Niantic labs, released a game called Ingress. Ingress is an augmented reality games. A type of games that augment the game play with our real life. The gameplay is quite simple, all you have to do is cover up an area with triangle that match the color of your faction. There are two faction: Resistance (blue) and Enlightened (green). The twist is, to create a triangle, you will need tree point that we call as portal. These portals are an actual place on earth. The portals need to have the same color before we can link it to one and another in order to create the triangle. To create link, you will need keys of target portal. How do you get it? This is the fun part. You walk your way to that portal and hack it. You can’t play ingress just by sitting on your couch ;). Check out this video for more information.

Another great aspect of ingress is it’s community. Since to play the game you will have to go out and walk, you will eventually meet another person, be it from your faction or from the enemy faction. Sometime you will have to battle the ownership of a portal while the other time, you just have a light chit-chat. Either way, it’s pretty fun!
