This short writing was to summarize my finding in how to kick start your Firefox OS development.


Without further ado, here it is:

  1. Tips trick, UX, and Firefox OS platform explanation:

    A complete and detailed explanation of how the UX works in Firefox OS. There’s also tips and trick on how to build an app for Firefox OS. You will also find platform stack explanation in Firefox OS, such as Gonk, B2G, Gaia, etc. You will also find an explanation of how security model works in Firefox OS.

  2. CSS, Controls, and Animations explanation and resources:

    In the Building Firefox OS website, you will find a bunch of CSS resources to create building block in Firefox OS. CSS for controls and also for animating your Firefox OS application’s transition.

  3. WebAPI informations:

    Because Firefox OS applications was built by using HTML5 technology, that is, to communicate to hardware and also various important areas, such as Call, Bluetooth, Camera, etc, you will need to access the appropriate WebAPI. This link will explain how to use WebAPI on your Firefox OS’s application.
