IFO File Extension
What comes into your mind if you heard File Extension IFO? For me, File Extension IFO is DVD data file which stores information about startup options, audio locations, chapter divisions and titles.
But actually, there are three known file types associated with the File Extension IFO. The second file type belongs a program called ImageForge Pro. This program assigns the .ifo extension to files containing object layer data. And the third program BioWare’s Aurora Game Engine. The BioWare .ifo file contains the information about the contents of the entire module belongs to the game.
So the similarity between those three is that .ifo file extension commonly used to store application information. The file is usually plain text and can be opened using standard text editor. If your operating system cannot open this file, there might be corrupted or missing registry files within your system.
