File Extension Repair
Someday, I got a problem with my windows box. I got so many application installed and uninstalled, which generate much inconsistency and broken file type. Hahaha, this is the result of my experiments. I really like to download and install so many application from internet. Just to know how it work, how they handle user experience, how the GUI laid out. What is the best GUI solution for some applications, etc.
File extension PPS for example. There are so many Power Point viewer out there that I have tried it. Which, at some point destroy my registry because I delete the application that add registry entry to handle PPS files. Another problem, this PPS file turn out to be ArcView's file extension and it another level to system injury.
Next, you should aware that file extension TMP normally stand for a temporary files. But, who know that when you install IMail Server from Ipswitch it will take control the registry for TMP extension?. What about the core windows file? the file extension DLL? CorelDraw will hurt you with it's import/export filters file extension!
It's lucky for us that there is a solution to fix this one. Our friend at Computer File Extensions has an application to fix this registry problem or probe or registry to search for possible registry problem before they breach out. Go ahead, download it and try to scan your computer for problems.
