Dynamic DNS Using No-IP
I got a case where I need to access my laptop at home. I did have a xmpp client active at home that act as chatbot where I can chat with and give it specific command for me to get whatever report I want from my laptop. But, this chatbot is limited in term of funcionality. So, I needed another solution for another problem where my chatbot can't handle it.
Here come the DDNS part. This time, we will use No-IP as our DNS provider. So, how do we use the solution? first, you have to register to the site, activate your account email and login.
Google Maps – City View Update
Surprised! that's what I feel when visiting google maps this morning. Because, I can search city road around some Indonesian City and I found it!

Google Search New Feature
I don't khow when did they deploy this new little feature. Because I can't find the info in the official google blog. Anyway, this feature is for some probably typo / accidental search. When you do that, google will display top 2 results in corrected keyword and the rest are results for your search. KUDOS to googler for this little feature. I really enjoy it!

Split MP3 Files in Linux
Previously, I've write something about getting audio files from flv video using avidemux (written in Bahasa Indonesia). Sometimes, this file could have some unneeded beginning or ending audio that we would like to trim it. There's so many GUI application in Windows world. But, here, in linux environment, GUI selection of this tools is not available or rather limited (in term availability and functionality).

Funny Comment on Dreamhost Status Update
Today, I receive RSS Update from dreamhost status telling me that the panel is temporarily unavailable due to some hardware problem.. I look at it and surprised by second comment from Raul:
No way!, i demand some waffles as compensation!.
The more I read the comment the more I'm surprised.............and laugh! 
. Funny, it is, to know the reaction of these people from knowing the fact that they can't do their job because panel and web email client is down.
