Create Shortcut Under KDE Panel
In previous article, I have show you how to create shortcut and place it in the directory. But in this one, we'll place our shortcut under KDE Panel. Ok, without further delay, here's the step :
- Right click on KDE panel, from the popup menu, select :
Add Application to Panel>>Add Non-KDE Application. - Fill in the detail there. For a console based application, you need to check
Run in a terminal windowcheckbox. As for executable, you can fill in absolute path or relative path. - If you want to change the default icon, just click the icon in the left of
Button titletextbox to open icon selection window.
That's it, you should now have a working shortcut.
